ABOUT MY STORE

Greetings beautiful people, and welcome to Purple Phaze!!

I've wanted to start my own store to sell my crafts and creations since I was a wee child. Whether I used paper, string, popsicle sticks, paints, or my laptop and Wacom tablet - creating has always been a consistent hobby in my life, and why not share what I create?? Despite encouragement from family and friends, I've always heeded to one invasive question in the looming darkness in my mind.

"But are you good enough??"

As a transguy with depression and anxiety that has been ever-present, this question has applied to several situations big and small. Relationships, schoolwork, hobbies - having that single question linger through each of your years really shakes up your sense of self-worth, among other things.

"Are you good enough??"

Well, I don't think it's unpopular to say that everybody deserves to feel worthy, that they matter, that they ARE good enough. Nobody is waived from that fact. Including myself, as hard as it may be to admit it.

I AM good enough.

So I decided to open Purple Phaze to help not just myself in this respect, but to help anybody who struggles with the same issue. Self-worth isn't easily gained, recognized, or respected, but it's just as significant as the human experience itself. Regardless of why you may not feel as if you're good enough, let me play the devil's advocate.

You ARE good enough.

My creations are crafted with care and love, and I hope they elicit joy in every beautiful person who receives them. To grant others the positivity they deserve is just as important as obtaining it myself, if not more so. Against the disappointment and melancholy in the world, I hope that I can bring happiness to even one soul. Life's too short to dislike yourself - find reasons to love yourself, even if it seems trivial.
